I love a good mac and cheese but oh boy did it take me time to find an actually really good recipe. Here is one I came across last year that is very cheesy and delicious. First, heat up 6 cups of milk over the stove top. I advise you to use whole milk because let's be honest with each other it tastes better. Then melt one stick of butter in another pan. Slowly, whisk in 1/2 cup of flour. Mix well. Slowly add milk to the rue with a ladle. Let this cook for 10-15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Over med low heat, add 1 cup gruyere cheese, 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, 2 cups chipotle cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese. Add 1 pound of cooked elbow noodles to the cheese sauce. Top with 2 cups of panko breadcrumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. There you go a delicious mac and cheese meal your family will love.
