Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Now who doesn't love pasta? Pasta was actually one of the first things I learned how to cook back in the day because it was the simplest to make. Here is a solid shrimp alfredo pasta recipe for all of you to enjoy. First cook 3/4 pound of fettucini pasta in salted water. Then, season one pound of shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika liberally. Preheat the skillet over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp in 1 tbsp oil for no more than 2 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the pan. In same pan over medium high heat, add 2 tbsp butter and saute one small chopped onion until golden. Now, stir in 1/3 cup white wine (chardonnay) and reduce to 25%. Stir in 2 cups heavy whipping cream and simmer for 2 minutes. Now add in 1/3 cup parmesan cheese and stir until creamy and smooth. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and paprika generously. Turn off the heat and add back in the cooked shrimp. There you go a good pasta recipe that shouldn't take you any more than 20 minutes to prepare from start to finish. Enjoy my friends!
